Marriage is not a noun; it's a verb. It isn't something you get. It's something you do. It's the way you love your partner every day. -Ann Landers

VeGaS bAby!!!

At the beginning of June we were able to take a short trip down to Las Vegas.  We took Trent and Laura and their two kids down with us.  As usual I was HORRIBLE at taking pictures so these are honestly all the pictures I have.  But we had such a wonderful time.

Logan was so excited to leave on "Vacation" he had no idea what that really meant, but we must have heard him say he on 'vacation' at least a dozen times.
Swimming was amazing, and so relaxing.  It was a great time to go, right before the horrid heat set in.  The 3 boys LOVED the pool!

Cousin Cole!  He was such an awesome swimmer!
Cousin Jakey- just 2 months younger than Logan. You should see this kid hit a ball...incredible!
 Splish, Splash!
Logan had one too many Oreos, his face was so dirty!!!  Nothing like pool snacks!
Heading out for a night on the town!
I can't believe that I didn't get one picture of Trent and Laura, not my best picture taking trip dang it!
It was still a great trip, full of lots of laughs, and memories!!

HiDe, HiDe!

So lately Logan's favorite game is hide-and-seek.  However, he plays by his own rules.  There is never any counting and never any seeking, and will yell out, "hide, hide" at anytime, anyplace.  His hiding sometimes includes an actual hiding place...

But most of the time, simply throwing his hands over his eyes does the trick.  I guess he thinks if he can't see you, you can't see him.
Once 'found' he laughs uncontrollably, which is completely contagious!
Which always leads to a small 'giggle fest.'  Oh how I love this boy!!!

ZoOoOoO

We took full advantage of the nice weather the other day, and drove as fast as we could to the zoo.  It was the first time that Logan and I had just gone the two of us.  We usually go with cousin's or friends.  But I have to say we had a blast just the two of us.  Made me so grateful for such a sweet, cute, and funny little boy!

All smiles when we got there.

Well he was a little scared when the monkey jumped at the glass towards him.

I had to laugh when he said, "Mommy, elephant timeout."  It does look like this elephant made a 'bad decision' and was sent to time out.

Completely confused as to why everyone kept calling the baby elephant Zuri, when his cousin Zuri lives so far away.
His ride on the carousel, he always chooses the handicap seat instead of an animal to ride.  Silly boy!
Here we go!
By the time I got the stroller packed in the car, and jumped into the drivers seat.  He was passed out in the back with his bag of Cheeto-s!  Needless to say we had an amazing time!

BiKe RiDe

Anyone for a bike ride???
Ever since Logan got this little bike for his birthday everyday-rain, shine, or snow he wants to ride his bike...  But only with Daddy!  Which I have to admit is kind of nice to be off the hook!  It is much more fun to watch than to chase!

Sometimes you will hear him say, "ZOOM ZOOM" as he flies by you.  So cute!
We can't wait for a little warmer weather, and the sunshine!

I'm 2

I can't believe my baby is 2!!!
I was so dang excited for Logan's birthday this year, mostly because I felt like I had to redeem myself from his disastrous party last year.  I was extra careful in making sure I did everything I could so he wasn't sick, and I bought a cake instead of making one.  It was so great.  He got a little Mickey bike for his birthday along with some other little things.  So the night before we tucked him in bed, and i snuck around hanging up balloons, and happy birthday banners...Andy put together his bike.  All to have him wake up at 10:30 come down stairs and see everything, then he was so excited he wouldn't go back to sleep...
I think that I am just doomed when it comes to birthday's!  BUT, it was a fantastic day anyway!  I didn't have to work, so we spent all day together.  Then Papa and Grandma Jo came over for a little birthday dinner.
New jammies
His FAVORITE present of all, from Papa and Grandma Jo...

A remote control TRAIN!!!! He ripped this out of her hands before she even got the chance to set it down.

And was smiles from ear to ear for hours, playing with his "CHOO CHOO!!!"

He didn't even want to eat his cake, or let us sing to him.  Because it took time away from his train.

I'm 2!!!

My BIG boy, so fun!

It was truly a perfect day!
