Marriage is not a noun; it's a verb. It isn't something you get. It's something you do. It's the way you love your partner every day. -Ann Landers

ViVa LaS Vegas!

For our 4 year anniversary we took a little trip with some friends Tiffany and Ryan down to Las Vegas. It was our first trip without Logan...it was sad, but a lot of fun!
We stayed at the Wyndham Resort just south of the strip. It was a blast.

Andy and I at the Mirage.

Tiffany and I, the flowers in there were unbelievable!
We did a session at the St. George Temple. That was an incredible experience! That temple is beautiful, and has SO much history.
Jumping for joy! We were having so much fun. I felt like we were in high school again...scary I know :)
The place we stayed at had a Lazy River...I wish there was lazy river in my backyard!
We went and saw the Terry Fator show. He is the ventriloquist that won America's Got Talent. He was hilarious! For a Vegas show it was very clean, you could take your family to see it. It was so funny! Mom and Ashley, thanks for taking such good care of Logan for us while we were gone. Tiff and Ryan:aka Frank thanks for making our trip one that we will never forget!

HaTs-HaTs-HATS

Logan has always been a true boy through and through. He loves digging in the dirt, splashing in any water he can find, throwing anything that he can lift, and lately he is into wearing hats. He loves his daddy's hats best of all.
No matter how many walls he runs into, (and trust me there have been many.) Any chance he gets to put on a hat he takes. Big or small, beanie or ball. This guys loves, hats, hats, hats!

98%

If you ask most people they will tell you that Logan is 98% his dad all the way. I'm fine with that, because I love Andy. He is the most amazing person, so why wouldn't I want my son to be just like that? But every so often, the moments might be few and far between, I will catch him doing something just like me.
Most of the time, relaxing and taking it easy, are not words in his vocabulary. But lately when he's been quite, instead of putting decals on the walls, he has crawled up into his rocking chair and been reading a book. It makes me happy to think that he may be mostly his dad, but he has a little of me in him too!

PaRk PLaY

One of the funnest things about the warmer weather, is Logan LOVES going to the park. It doesn't matter what park he LOVES any park. As long as he gets to run around and play, he a happy guy! He makes me laugh so much!
It's also fun for me to watch Andy play with Logan and interact with each other. The are two of a kind.

LOVE, love, love my two guys! Who could ask for anything more???

WhOoO WhOoO

CoNgRaTuLaTiOnS!!!!!
To my favorite brother Wesley, today he graduated from the U of U with his Bachelors in Science. A major in biology and a minor in chemistry.
It was so cool to be there with him, and to share this experience!
His next stop is Glendale, Arizona to D.O school.
Tear, sniff, sniff!
I had to post this picture of the "Earls"
My Grandpa (the original Earl ), my dad (Earl Grant ), and my brother (Earl Wesley)
Sadly Zurik didn't get to carry on the "Earl" tradition...
But I am sure one day he will be just fine with that LOL!
He had a lot of family support, Grandma Stuker, Wesley, and Grandma Powell
Both were proud as punch!
The proud parents
The even prouder older sister!
Wesley: I am so proud of you, for all the accomplishments that you have achieved. It truly has been such and great trip being your sister. As much as I want to hate you sometimes, I just can't you are such a special person. You know that I have always been the over-protective sister, it's a role that I have been proud to play. You mean more to me than you will ever know. I can say you are my favorite brother, because you are my only brother, but there is no other that could take your place!
Congratulations on your wonderful day, I love you!

St. GeOrGe

We went down to St. George for the weekend, in search of warmer weather! It was so much fun. I realized that vacationing with kids is a lot more work than I ever thought it would be. Logan was so good all through the day, except at night. Getting him to stay asleep was a challenge in and of itself.
But the days were awesome! He was my sweet happy, silly boy!
We stayed with Wes and Rachel at her family condo. Friday us girls were able to hang out, we did a little shopping. The boys went golfing, who wouldn't have a good time?
It's not very often that Andy will just sit down and chill, so I had to take a picture of this. Him just relaxing, who knows when this will happen again ;)
Andy's sister Ashley let us borrow her amazing stroller! It was a fun ride for the boys, I wished that I could have fit in there.
We went to the IronMan, it was a really cool experience. Zurik loved it!
My favorite part was getting to spend so much time with my boys!
LOVE this picture of Z, he is such a stud!!
Going home, happily all the way...well until we got to Provo then things kind of fell apart, but we almost made it. Hahaha
It is such a joy waking up to this sweet little face everyday!
He and Andy make my life worth living, my heaven sent guys!

75 and LoViNg it!

When we party we go all out! Go BIG or Go Home...
My Grams turned 75!
That is a huge milestone, she has always done so much for me, and I love her so much!
We had a amazing turn out, we had family and she had friends come from St George and other distances just to celebrate her special day. I got to distract her by taking her to breakfast, then we went to my house where we watched "The Princess and the Frog", then we went shopping to get her some new birthday pants, and off she went to get ready for the "play" that she thought she was going to. It was so awesome to see her face and how excited/emotional she was.

This was her reaction when she walked through the door. Couldn't close her mouth. I'm glad her dentures didn't fall out :)

Here's our family 50's portrait. My mom, Aunt Kris, Aunt Dolly, and Grams

Me, Grams and Jaclyn
My two 50's stud muffins! The whole gang:
Aunts, uncles, cousins, 2nd cousins, lots of love
My amazing cousin Easton (he's the one on the left dressed as Elvis, LOL) put together this incredible video for her. It had pictures of all of us, but the neatest thing was he collected all these old home movies that were taken when my mom was Logan's age. It was so emotional to see my Grandpa as a Dad. I've only ever known him as Grandpa, so to see him interacting with his kids the way that Andy interacts with Logan was something I never thought of before. Since he and my aunt Betti have passed away, there is always this void. But seeing them in the pictures and in the videos it was like there were actually sitting right in the room with us. I know without a doubt that there were there. It was such a great night, one that we will always remember! Love you Grams!!! xoxoxo
