Marriage is not a noun; it's a verb. It isn't something you get. It's something you do. It's the way you love your partner every day. -Ann Landers

Down on the farm

So each Friday I try really hard to find some fun things to do, I've named this day "Fun Day Friday". Since I have the day off of work, I hate sitting home doing things that I should do. It's much more fun to be out and play. Rachel, Jac, my mom, Zurik, Logan and I all went to Wheeler Farm for one "Fun Day Friday"

Jac was scared of this little guy. She wouldn't dare get any closer.

Logan slept almost the whole time. He wasn't sure what to think when he woke up, with all these smelly animals around.
Zurik on the other hand, he pretty much had a smile the whole time. Even when he fell asleep.
Down on the Farm
Jac by the baby calf. There were so many animals and a few baby ones, they were all so cute.

We had a great time, until it started to rain. Then it was a mad dash back to the car!

If anyone has any other "Fun day" ideas please leave me a comment and let me know. I'm afraid there are a lot more "Fun Friday's" than I have activities for....

Baby Blessing

Again, other news that's over a month old! I should be grounded.

Logan was blessed on May 3rd. Andy gave such a beautiful blessing, Logan was a good boy and didn't cry or fuss. However, I heard that he was a little wiggle worm and almost got dropped a few times...
Ready to go!

Little squishy face!
Logan, we love you so much. You get cuter every day as your personality becomes more and more defined. Thank you for being my sweet little boy.
We had SO much love from family and friends. Thank you to everyone that came out and gave us support, thank you to everyone that helped with the after party. We really do have the greatest family and friends around!

Graduation

Wow so shame on me. I've been meaning to do this post for over a month...better late than never??? Yeah I don't know about that.
On May 2nd Andy was able to graduate from UVU. It was so exciting, he wasn't going to walk but then changed his mind last minute. I was so glad that he did. I have never been more proud of him in my life. What an accomplishment it was!

President Thomas S. Monson was the speaker, and it was so amazing to hear his wonderful words. It really gave us hope for the future and things to come.

He was so funny, I went right down there (as close as I could) to get a picture when he was handed his degree. The goof ball saw me standing right there but wouldn't stop for a picture, or even to make eye contact! Now I know where Logan gets it from.

We were so excited that he had so much family support there at his graduation. His parents came, and my parents came. It was a wonderful celebration!

My darling sister-in-law Rachel graduated on the same day. It was so neat, she switched seats so that the two of them could sit closer together. I'm glad that she was there, otherwise I don't think I ever would have found Andy. She was easy to spot, with her gorgeous face, and big smile. She pointed Andy out to us, luckily, and even then the guy waving to me didn't really look like Andy.

Logan was very proud of his Dad to!
I threw him a party at the park later that night, it rained the whole time and was freezing cold! But we still had an amazing turnout, thanks to so many family and friends! At least the cake was still yummy!

Andy congratulations! We are so proud of you and love you so much! Thank you for ALL you do for our little family. You work so hard, and make our lives so happy. You are an amazing man, I don't tell you that enough. We are so blessed to have you in our lives!

Way to go!

So Big!

Today Logan is three months old. Where has the time gone? It still seems like yesterday that I was waking up in the middle of the night with him trying to kick his way out of my belly. Some days I still can't believe that he's here. My life has never been so wonderful, even with all the challenges that we've faced lately, Logan is the one thing that makes my life worth getting out of bed for.

Here are a few of his favorite things:
He LOVES kicking his feet. All day long it's kick, kick, kick. He'd rather try and kick something with his feet, than grab it with his hands. When I see him kick it makes me laugh because he used to kick me ALL the time.

He LOVES time spent with Dad. Andy can always get a smile out of him. (It makes me jealous sometimes!)

He LOVES trying to shove both of his fists in his mouth. Why settle for one, when you could have both? He constantly gagging himself by doing so. But that does not deter him from spending most of his time trying to accomplish this.

Logan LOVES being outside, no matter how hot, cold, or windy, he loves it!

He LOVES being with his family.
Nana (my mom) and Papa (Andy's dad)

He love smiling and is such a happy boy, I just love him!
Logan we are so blessed to have you in our lives, thank you for all the happiness you create, and all the love that you share. You mean everything to us!!!
