Newport Beach

At the end of April my parents took all of us on a family vacation. We went to Newport Beach California, and it was a blast! It was the first time that we had been on a vacation with both in-laws. So it was so fun! Jaclyn brought her friend Alyssa (aka Rachel's little sis...) She's such a cutie! We had so much fun, here are a few of my favorite things we did...



The day we left was my brother's birthday, Happy 23rd Wesley!!! We stopped in St. George for the night, and ate at the Pizza Factory...yummy!

Our first day there was spent hanging out at the pool. From the pool you could look out over the ocean, the weather was perfect...so we all worked on our tans. Andy was a great sport since this vacation was low key, he did amazing to just relax! We all got fried, so burned.

We made it to the Newport Temple, it is even more beautiful in person. Unfortunatly it was closed when we got there so all we could really do was look at it.

We also did a little shopping...we went to Fashion Island. It's this massive shopping center (kind of like Gateway, only 5 times the size.) There are so many stores, and resturants, it's amazing!!!



We made it to the beach, we jumped for joy, wrote in the sand, and caught a sand shark (not really a guy fishing off the Newport pier caught it...he just let Wesley hold the fish.) The beach was a little chilly, the water was freezing! But it was just what we needed, there's nothing a little sand and sunshine can't fix!









The last day we were there we took this boat ride around, and saw a lot of celebrity beach homes and a ton of Sea Lions...this is just a little video that I took on the boat. It's hysterical becuase all the sea lion sounds that you hear are NOT from the sea lions themselves. They are being made by all the people on the boat. It's really funny!



Thanks Dad and Mom for the wonderful vacation! It was one that we will never forget! We love you!
