Marriage is not a noun; it's a verb. It isn't something you get. It's something you do. It's the way you love your partner every day. -Ann Landers

Little Love Bug

We haven't been up to much lately. But I've decided that sometimes no new is good news!

Here's some pictures of our Love Bug.
He's sitting up better each day, and for longer periods of time.

He's the best gift I could ever have received.
This last week he has LOVED his rice cereal. It's so cute, he will hold his mouth wide open until I put the spoon in it. He's like a little bird, when it's gone he still just sits there with his mouth wide open.

I love this guy!

5 Months

Our little monkey is 5 months old! Where do the day's go? He is such a sweetheart and we love him so much! He makes everyone around him smile, with that crooked little grin.
Here's a few things that Logan has been up to.
LOVES his tummy time, and occasionally rolls over onto his back.
LOVES holding his bottle
LOVES to jump and twist in his jumper
LOVES to sit up all by himself, and doesn't cry when he crash and burns.

LOVES to chew those chubby fingers
LOVES to play with his cousins:
London, Sadie, & Jake
LOVES to make music
(Logan was not hurt at the end of this video, LOL!)

I LOVE kissing those irresistible cheeks of yours!!!
Logan we love watching you grow, and explore new things. You light up our lives, and fill our home with happiness. We can't wait for the next new thing that you do.
We love you so much!

Aunt Betti

My heart is filled both with sadness and happiness today as we laid to rest my sweet Aunt Betti (or as we liked to call her "Fred"). She passed away on July 24th, after an amazing/heartbreaking battle with cancer. She was someone who truly gave to others with a happy heart, and wiliness that puts others to shame. She will be deeply missed by everyone that knew her, and loved her. When she walked into a room the radiance that surrounded her made you smile. She was the classiest woman I knew. I have been honored to call her my aunt.

What I remember about her most, she taught me the art of "dancing it out." She taught me that there would never be a problem that loud music, finger snapping, and head bobbing couldn't fix. (I'm laughing and crying while writing this.) She was always bobbing her head to a beat and snapping those fingers. It's been 7 years since she taught me that and I can honestly say that it has worked. It may not have solved the problems, but made the journey a little easier, and my heart a little lighter. I will miss her so much, I love you forever and always!

Betti L. Powell Grow

Betti L. Powell Grow "My World" Our loving wife, daughter, sister and friend changed our world when she passed away July 24, 2009 after a courageous and valiant battle with cancer. Betti (also lovingly called "Fred") was born May 24, 1958 in Salt Lake City to Mary and Dennis Powell. She graduated from Murray High School in 1976. Married the love of her life, Jim R. Grow on June 4, 1983. Betti was an incredible aunt to her nephews, Kolton and Kanyon Ollis. She enjoyed spending time with the whole family at the cabin, but her greatest joy was her husband, Jim. She was an inspiration and example to everyone. Betti was selfless. She was always in the service of others - her family, at her work, and to everyone around her. She will be truly missed. Betti is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Jim; mother, Mary Powell; siblings, Dennis Ray (Leslie) Powell, Joi (Grant) Stuker, Kris (Allen) Jones, Dolly (Greg) Ollis and many nieces, nephews and extended family. Preceded in death by her father. We love you forever!

Bad day???

Logan woke up this morning with blood all over his nose from a huge scratch he so lovingly gave himself...

And Andy came home from work with blood all over his face from 7 bloody noses that he kept getting throughout the day...

But I had a GREAT day! No blood for me!
