Marriage is not a noun; it's a verb. It isn't something you get. It's something you do. It's the way you love your partner every day. -Ann Landers

One of the funnest things about having a little boy is dressing him up! I LOVE it!

Bedtime Stories

The few nights that Andy is actually home, he makes sure that Logan gets a bedtime story before he goes off the dreamland....
These stories usually include a rap somewhere in there about how cute Logan is.
Andy cracks me up because the words are always different but the beat...always the same.
I love these two guys!

A Rig of Bamboo

So I have to laugh at myself because sometimes I just don't make any sense to anyone except myself. Whenever someone goes on vacation and brings me back a souvenir I get this song that pops into my head, and has ever since I learned it back in elementary school. I don't know why and can't really explain it, it's just one of those things I suppose. My parents came back from Puerto Vallarta and gave Logan this awesome hat below (a rig of bamboo)...
The Princess Pat Live in a tree
She sailed across the seven seas
She sailed across the channel too
And took with her a rig of bamboo
A rig of bamboo now what is that?
It's something made by the Princess Pat
It's red and gold and purple too
That's why it's called a rig of bamboo
Now Captain Jack had a mighty fine crew
He sailed across the channel too
But his ship sank and yours will too
If you don't take a rig of bamboo...
See like I said total and complete nonsense!!!

Birthday Brother

So I just wanted to wish my little brother a very happy birthday! He turned 24 yesterday, wow where have the years gone? If any of you knew me when I was younger you'd know that it is a pure miracle that he's lived to be this old. Whether I was putting him the dryer, duct taping him in a box on top of my wagon and pushing him down the driveway, or simply tying him up with yarn or the shoelaces from my shoes...I've loved him every step of the way. We have many stories the two of us, we spent 7 years just the two of us until our little sister came along. We've had so many good times, and some bad times. You were a cry baby when you were little, (I had everything to do with that. Sorry!) But through them all I've loved him being my brother, even when you chased me around the house with the BB Gun...You drove me crazy in Jr. high, and we almost killed each other in High school...(you should have just held my banana peel :-) )
It has been so much fun watching him grow up, get married, and start his own little family. Wes, you are a wonderful brother, uncle, father, and example. Everyone around you gravitates towards your happy, easy going spirit. Happy Birthday, and here's to many more!

Love you!!!!
